The EC Group has been contracted by Saa’men Economic Development Corp to at as Construction Manager (CCDC-5B) for the new construction of a gas station and convenience store development. The project consists of new 5,200 sf timber frame convenience store with timber fuel canopy.
Scope also includes underground petroleum tanks, civil servicing, and a septic field. A significant challenge of this project is the complexity of the structural components. The project features curved timbers installed in a radial layout with specialty connections and intersection points.
The project has required ongoing collaboration and communication with the design team as well as specialty trade contractors procured by The EC Group to ensure critical schedule elements are addressed.
