Rod is a proud third generation home builder. Some of his earliest childhood memories are helping his dad at the age of five lay brick, to completing the finishing touches on the exterior cladding of the Empress Hotel expansion in the late 80’s.

Today Rod is the Vice-President of the Canadian Home Builders Association of Central Vancouver Island (CHBA-CVI) and is actively involved in the community, as a soccer coach for both of his boy’s teams and a supporter of the Haven Society that provides services to women, children, youth and families who have experienced violence.

Stan Osiel – Sales and Marketing Manager

Stan Osiel

Stan was born and raised in Nanaimo, and although his career choices have given him the opportunity to live in various areas of Canada…he, along with his wife Brenda moved back to Nanaimo several years ago with their daughter Jessica and son Danny.  They came back to Vancouver Island because to them, of all the places they have been to, this is the best place in Canada to live and raise a family.

With more than three decades of operational and management experience in media, gaming, marketing, communication, and renovation construction, Stan developed a strong belief in giving genuine customer service.  He and his teams have worked with literally hundreds of people, homeowners and businesses to help them achieve their specific goals.

Stan also believes in having a thorough understanding of our clients’ needs, interests and motivations…to ensure that you get what you want and to keep it within your budget.

Robert Burridge (Rob) – Project Manager

Rob Burridge

Rob brings to Ecklundson Construction both leadership and experience. After spending 20 years in the military, Rob and his father opened a renovation company and worked with several realty companies maintaining and renovating their rental units. His father a retired police officer moved his family quite a bit with postings across the province, but lucky for Rob, this gave him plenty of experience renovating their family homes.

While in the military, Rob received intensive training in areas of discipline, interpersonal skills, leadership management, planning and foresight to see unexpected situations that may arise. During the Gulf War, Rob honed his leadership skills under pressure to become the “Man on the spot” who could be counted on to resolve difficult situations. Being the “man on the spot,” Rob likes being where the action is and is the person who spends most of his time at the site of your future home.

Being a project manager is somewhat like being an orchestra conductor. Rob ensures the smooth operation of the site, co-ordinating all the trades to create a wonderful piece that is your home.  Instead of having to find each of the trades at the site or by phone to discuss issues that you may have, simply look for Rob who is the liaison between the various trades and yourself.

Although excited about starting your new project, Rob is sometimes sorry to say good-bye.
